The quote, “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes”, from Mark Twain is one of my favourite quotes. It definitely applies in Geopolitics. I’ve not had the years behind me to learn from experience in Geopolitics. This is why I’m looking back into history. I’ve got an incredibly curious mind and I never stay very long on one topic. This is why I love Geopolitics. It’s ever-changing. There’s always something happening. And while I don’t always want to always discuss what’s ‘hot’ in a current moment, by learning about the history of Geopolitics, I can use my gained knowledge to base judgements on the present, and more importantly, the future.
I plan on being around for quite some time, and not just surviving but thriving. This is why I’m the best for this, it will be in my direct interest for a long time into the future. There are a lot of scary things in the world, and preparation is my anti-anxiety for it all. Come and learn with me.

Saturday - The Geopolitics Explained Podcast (Free) - I explore another topic in geopolitics from a historical context. How did we get to where we are today, and how can we use history, and the present, to consider future possible scenarios?
The Geopolitics Explained Database (Free & Paid) - This database collects together all the knowledge and issues I’ve explored through Geopolitics Explained. It also includes a 2024 Geopolitical Timeline that will tell the story of 2024 through the field of geopolitics. The database is split into three sections: Countries, Commodities, and Other Topics. Many of the database pages covering countries are free for all, as are the pages on commodities. The other topics sections cover areas such as modern-day infrastructure war, border disputes, and other areas I take an interest in that relate to geopolitics. Over time, I hope this coverage of historical and present-day geopolitics can grow into the go-to place on the internet for geopolitical knowledge.
